Site specific Travel Option leaflets launch                                             March 2011

Kent County Council Highways and Transportation can now offer site specific Travel Option Leaflet Templates.

These enable you to create your own site specific leaflet explaining the travel options to your site and detailing Travel Plan initiatives. The leaflets contain specially adapted GIS mapping showing access options to your site by bus, train, cycling and walking. There is also space to set out your Travel Plan measures and incentives and provide information about the benefits of green travel.

There are three leaflet templates to choose from and most of the work has been done for you. All you need to do is tailor the leaflet to your site and we can help with this too.  Template options include:

Option A    A4 folded to DL

Option B    A4 folded to A7

Option C    A3 folded to 'pocketsize'

As the base mapping and leaflet templates have already been produced, these professional leaflets can be produced at very reasonable rates.  A breakdown of costs is available for the 3 leaflet types which can be printed on either recycled or FSC paper.  Other print run quantities, designs and notice board templates are also available on request.  

All leaflets are provided in a pdf version so they can be emailed to staff and put onto your website to promote your travel options.  The leaflets can also be made interactive at an additional cost.

We have worked with Pindar, Travel Information Specialists to produce these templates.  Pindar have provided many of these leaflets for a range of private and public sector clients on behalf of TfL in London.  Feedback from these organisations has been very positive with staff and visitors finding the information helpful when planning journeys to the sites. The maps have therefore helped towards their Travel Plan objectives.
